Saved in your browser only
These stay on your device and are never sent to us:
- rl-recent-countries
- The countries you picked recently, shown first in the country list.
- rl-learn-seen
- How many jobs each skill had on your last visit, so “What should I learn?” can show what changed.
Why there is no cookie banner
Each of these is needed for something you asked for: remembering a choice you made, or keeping you signed in. Privacy laws such as the EU’s ePrivacy rules don’t require a consent banner for that. If we ever want a cookie that isn’t needed for something you asked for, we will ask you first.
Other companies
No other company sets cookies through RemoteLift. If the site is under attack, our hosting provider (Vercel) may briefly set a security cookie to check that a visitor is a person and not a bot.
How to remove them
Clear cookies and site data for RemoteLift in your browser’s settings. The site keeps working: it guesses your country again and forgets your picks. More in our privacy policy.
